Paddling 55 miles on the Susquehanna River* starting at Hunlock Creek Access and traveling to the Historic Priestley House in Northumberland, PA.

Shickshinny, PA to Columbia Park (17 miles)

Saturday, June 28
Columbia Park to Danville (18 miles)

Sunday, June 29
Danville to Priestly House, Northumberland (11 miles)

51st Anniversary of Endless Mountains Down River Canoe/Kayak Race

One of the Oldest Marathon Canoe Races in the Northeaster U.S.

PRE-REGISTRAION

  1. The entry fee is $20 per participant, $25 per participant the day of the race.
  2. Entries will be accepted the day of the race beginning at 10:00 A.M.
  3. A number will be provided to participants for identifying each craft. The number should be displayed on the left bow (front) of each canoe.
  4. Registration will be allowed on race day from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at the start site in Mehoopany.
  5. Race starts at 12:00 P.M.
  6. Entrants release the Tunkhannock Kiwanis Club, the landowners at the start and finish areas. and the representatives of each from all liability.
  7. Registration forms can be picked Gay's True Value in Tunkhannock. Completed form should be returned to the address below. Checks should be made out to Tunkhannock Kiwanis Club and must accompany the entry form.

RACE COURSE
From the bridge in Mehoopany to just above the bridge in Tunkhannock.

RECREATION CLASS
Designed for local boaters who are not racers to grab their friends or young children to experience the waters on the Susquehanna.

COMPETITION CLASS
Are for the people that enjoy racing and competition. If you enter more than two boat races a year, you probably are a competitor.
